Autumn on the Island

I love this fall weather on the Island! Low humidity, temperatures in the 60's in the day and 50's at night, pumpkins, leaves turning colors (eventually!), thoughts of the coming Thanksgiving Holiday, movies like "You've Got Mail" which begins with fall in New York.

Each season has its beauty here, each day a gift from God.

It is the best, Larry,

My fave season of the year & Long Island's secret weapon. Certainly, the beaches & summer & parks are well known....but this is the time for us natives.

It also lasts longer for us than our upstate & inland neighbors, given the moderating influence of the ocean in whose embrace we float.
