Late this morning there was a flash and then boom- boom- boom! We began the New Year here on the Island with a thunderstorm! It is now nearly 4 o'clock in the afternoon. The sky has cleared out (for now) and the sun is shining. In other areas of the state it is snowing, here once again it feels like spring- but that is all going to change after the next few days.
