The activities of the city are at our finger tips. One of the great attractions is the Christmas Show at Radio City Music Hall. Our family has been there a number of times and always enjoyed it. The tree in Rockefeller Center, the stores on 5th Avenue all lend themselves to making Christmas here a wonderful experience.
We are a train ride away from the city. I can see the Empire State Building with its green and red lights atop right now (in my mind).
